Pleasure Pony Back at Heads Up!

Percy, the multi-titled pleasure pony shown at numerous shows in 2002 by Jessica Holmes for owner Myra Williams, has recently returned to Heads Up! Academy in Apex, N.C. where he will remain for the rest of his life.
Williams originally purchased Percy in 2000 from Allison Walker. During Percy’s career with Heads Up, he was crowned the Raleigh Spring Premier and Tar Heel Classic English Pleasure Pony Grand Champion with Jessica Holmes up for Williams.
Percy was then bought back by Walker as a mount for her daughter Ashley and until August of this year, was owned by Jon Walker of Jon Walker Stables. Jill Cool, a customer of Heads Up Academy, purchased Percy in August of this year so that he could make Heads! Up his final home. Percy will serve as a mount for riding students at Heads Up who do not have their own horse and will live a life of leisure at Myra Williams’ Apex facility.
