Phillip Galbreath Wins SHR Bracketology

Phillip Galbreath and CC's Chardonnay

The winner of this year’s Saddle Horse Bracketology contest is none other than Phillip Galbreath! He will receive a free subscription to Saddle Horse Report and Horse World for his efforts in defeating his fellow Saddlebred, Morgan and Hackney enthusiasts!

Phillip is married to his wife of 10 years, Shannon, and is the proud father of Carter, Kelsey, and Collin.

Phillip’s family has been instrumental in the Saddlebred world, standing some of the greatest stallions of all time. The most recent in this string is Sir William Robert. Sir William Robert hails from a dynasty of great show and breeding stallions. Sir William Robert's sire, World’s Champion Santana's Charm, is a multi-titled champion and was a resounding success as a sire. His grandsire was World’s Grand Champion Fine Harness horse, Sultan's Santana, also owned by the Galbreath family. Sir William Robert also carries the blood of the grand show mares CH Cherry Rebel and CH Golden Cherry. Sir WIlliam Robert was a World’s Champion performance horse, exciting crowds in the show ring before he retired. He is now making a significant mark in the show ring through his offspring, already siring many World’s Champions and stakes winners.

Phillip himself was a World’s Champion, showing CC’s Chardonnay to the 1991 Junior Exhibitor Three-Gaited Show Pleasure World’s Champion of Champions title.
