Peeper Ranch Reports Winter Sales Activity

Trainers Phil Fountain and Sandy Sessink have enjoyed a busy winter of sales at Brad and Dawn Fire’s Peeper Ranch in Lenexa, KS. The most recent Peeper sale is that of Boogie Nights (Born to Boogie X UVM Unity), who stands as the 2006 World Champion Gelding as well as the 2005 and 2006 World Champion Classic Pleasure Saddle.  Former owner Dawn Fire congratulates Anne Marie and Martin Biron of Buffalo, New York on their acquisition. Peeper Ranch served as agent for both parties and the grand performer will team with his new owner under the direction of Fountain and Sessink.

Dawn Fire is the proud new owner of the 2006 World Champion Four Year Old English Pleasure Treble's First Take (Liberation First Star X Take My Breath Away). With three world titles to her credit for former owner Ann Hailey of Copper Beech LLC, Dawn Fire looks forward to taking over the riding assignment. Sandy Sessink and Phil Fountain were agents for Dawn Fire, while Harry Sebring and Broadmoor served as agents for Copper Beech.

Jaden Fire also has a new mount for the show ring as Dawn Fire purchased the winning equitation mount CO Perfect Timing for her daughter. Emily Buchanan is the former owner and rider of the top-performing gelding. Peeper Ranch was the agent for both parties.

The 2006 Reserve World Champion Ladies Classic English Pleasure Plum Haven Minuet (I Will Command X Saralin's Top Mark) was also sold by Dawn Fire. Dawn and Michael Wade purchased the elegant mare for daughter Kristen to show under the River’s Edge banner with Bob Kellert and Mary Cockriel serving as agents.

The Peeper Ranch breeding program also saw the yearling filly Hello Kitty (HVK Bell Flaire X Erotic Dancer) sell to Cadence Farm, Kay and Janelle Schroeder of Dubuque, Iowa. Peeper Ranch served as agent for both parties on the sale of the promising youngster.

Cadence Farm also sold Libretto's Bravado (Stonecroft Byzantine X Merriehill My Tyme), the 2006 World Champion Ladies Classic Pleasure Driving. The multi-titled five-year-old was purchased by Janet Morgan, Sharon Morgan Farm, Winsted, Ct. Dwayne Knowles and Mike Goebig of Broadmoor are the new trainer/agents while Peeper Ranch acted as agent for the Schroeders of Cadence Farm.

The Born To Boogie son Sioux's Boogie Knights has found a new home at Peeper Ranch. He was purchased by Lon Freiden of Lamar, MO for his granddaughter Lauren Little. The multi-titled gelding earned top honors for former owner Sioux Mingaye from Great Britain to Gold Cup in saddle, harness and in hand. He was formerly trained by Lynn and Kathleen Peeples of Waterford Farm.
