Paducah Charity to Host Alpha Classes

The 2007 Paducah Charity Horse Show, May 24-26, will sponsor four UPHA Classic classes (3-Gaited, 5-Gaited, Fine Harness & Park Pleasure) and three new Alpha Classes (Alpha 3-Gaited Country Pleasure, Alpha 3-Gaited Show Pleasure & Alpha 5-Gaited).  These classes are open to any rider who is just beginning his/her show career or returning from a 10-year or longer hiatus.  Unlike the novice classes, which limits a rider to three blue ribbons, the Alpha show division will allow a rider to exhibit up to two years, regardless of ribbons won.  After two years, the rider will be required to move into the more seasoned and competitive amateur and junior exhibitor classes.

The Paducah Charity Horse Show has been growing again in the past few years and the committee's goal is to offer a varied and competitive program of classes, trainer's bonuses and provide top-notch hospitality. Call (270) 658-3970 to reserve stalls or e-mail ahanson@pennylanefarm.us.
