Oklahoma Centennial Names New Manager
Monday, December 5, 2005
Officials of the Oklahoma Centennial Horse Show have announced that Scarlett Mattson will take over as the manager of the long running event. Manager of the World’s Championship Horse Show as well as several major shows, Mattson brings a wealth of expertise to the Oklahoma Centennial which is held at the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds, Oklahoma City, OK.
April 12-15 will be the dates for the 2006 show and Bret C. Day will judge the Saddlebred, pony and roadster divisions. The Morgan judge has not been secured at this point. A new schedule is also in place with the show beginning on Wednesday and ending on Saturday evening instead of Sunday. Larger prize money will be offered in 2006 as well as Jackpot Championships with no qualifying required. A nice selection of Academy classes will also be offered to exhibitors.
