Obituary - Roy Werner

The Saddlebred world was saddened to learn of the passing of Redwing Farm’s Roy Werner on Sunday, October 18 at the age of 93. Husband of former ASHA President and longtime board member Judy Werner, Roy was an integral part of Redwing Farm and the many champions they have raised over the years. As many who knew him can attest, he was a straightforward man who spoke his mind and never left you guessing where he stood on a subject.

A Celebration of Life is being planned and details will be announced when they are confirmed. Those wanting to honor Roy with donations may do so to the American Saddlebred Horse Association (for youth programs), the American Saddlebred Museum or the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
