Obituary - Robert E. Eichlin

Robert E. Eichlin, 72, of Pittstown, N.J., died Tuesday, March 21, 2006 in Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, N.J. Born on Sept. 21, 1933 in Somerville, N.J., he was the son of the late W. Clifford and Marjorie Bodine Eichlin. He later married Sally Seabolt, who is the owner and trainer of the Saddlebred and Morgan farm, Creekside Farm. Their son, John showed horses as a junior exhibitor and in equitation. Some of the horses Sally and John have had are CH Albelarm Tradition, MLF Bryce, Callaway's All That Jazz and Southerly Fiesta.
Eichlin formerly owned and operated Bodine Lumber Co., Pittstown, N.J., and E & E Lawn and Garden Store, Pittstown, N.J. He was also an Army veteran of the Korean War and managed a flight school at Alexandria Airport.
Eichlin is survived by his wife, Sally Eichlin; daughter, Greta Eichlin-Bell,Pittstown, N.J; two sons, Robert C. Eichlin of Raubsville, Penn., and John W. Eichlin, Pittstown, N.J.; brother, Richard Eichlin, Pittstown, N.J.; and four grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 25, 2006 in the Quakertown United Methodist Church, Quakertown, N.J.
