Obituary - Paul B. Hollar



Paul B. Hollar died Saturday July 3, at the University Of Kentucky Medical Center as the result of a motorcycle accident. Hollar was well known in the Saddlebred industry as a bid spotter for many years at TSE Tattersalls.
Hollar was a retired captain and paramedic of the Lexington Fayette Urban County Fire Department. He also owned Mediport LLC, and was a Mason and an administrative assistant at Keeneland.
Hollar was survived by his son, Paul B. Hollar, Jr., of Lexington, Ky., his partner for life Jo Ann Courtney of Lexington, and two grandchildren; Miles Hollar of Frankfurt and Aaron Perkins of Nicholasville.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 6, from 4-9 pm at the W.R. Milward Mortuary-Broadway in Lexington. Contributions may be made to Hospice Of The Bluegrass, 2312 Alexandria Drive, Lexington, Ky. 40504.
