Saddle Horse Report received the sad news that American Saddlebred breeder Jim Stewart has passed away. A longtime resident of Columbia, Missouri, Stewart was well known for standing the world’s champion sire Gypsy Santana. With a tell it like it is personality, Stewart was loved by trainers and exhibitors alike. He raised many top horses over the years and nothing made him prouder than watching offspring by Gypsy Santana go on to be stars of the show ring.
