Obituary – Ed Teater

The Saddle Horse Report family as well as the show horse industry is saddened to learn of the death of renowned trainer and entrepreneur, Ed Teater. Son of the legendary Earl Teater, Ed trained and showed world’s grand champions CH Sea Of Secrets and CH Belle Elegant (pictured). Additionally, he and wife Suzie operated TSE Tattersalls for a long time, offering a couple of American Saddlebred public auctions a year at the historic Lexington, Kentucky, sales facility.
A formal tribute to the 2000 UPHA Tom Moore Hall of Fame inductee will appear in an upcoming issue.
