The Canadian Road Horse Association has expressed sincere condolences on behalf of its membership to the family of Debbie Downey, a long-time Hackney and commercial horse exhibitor from Madoc, Ontario.  Debbie passed away yesterday very suddenly following a heart attack.
    Debbie is survived by her husband, Clare, and their three children,
Darla, Denise, and Caitlin.  She is the sister-in-law of Glen and
Elaine Downey.
    Visitation and services are scheduled to be held at the McConnell
Funeral Home (112 Durham Street South  - 613-473-2833), Madoc,
Ontario.  Visitation were held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00
p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 8.  The service will be held at
1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 9.
