Chris Wise, the beloved wife of UPHA Tom Moore Hall of Fame trainer Bill Wise, passed away September 29 at the age of 88. In addition to Bill, she is survived by their daughters Billie and Penny and their families.
Chris kept a lovely home and grounds at their Valhalla Farm, Danville, Kentucky, and loved the horses and the people involved in the business. She and Bill have presented the Surefire Trainers Trophy in the Five-Gaited World’s Grand Championship for many years.
