Obituary – Betty Jane Holtz

Saddle Horse Report has learned the sad news that Betty Jane Holtz passed away peacefully Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022 at the age of 96.
One of the directors of the California Saddle Horse Breeders Association and longtime Diamond Level supporter of the California Saddle Horse Futurity Horse Show, Holtz was one of the kindest, most gracious ladies of the horse industry.
She was a tireless supporter of the California Saddle Horse Breeders Association and California Futurity Horse Show and spent all day, every day of the horse show helping in center ring or the horse show office; always one of the first to arrive and last to leave.
She never had an unkind word and always had a smile. She will be truly missed and a tribute to her will appear in a future issue of Saddle Horse Report.
