Obituary – Louise Myers Allen

From the iconic Carolina show horse family, Louise Myers Allen bravely lost her battle with cancer. As her daughter Stephanie Wellington stated, “she did it on her terms.” A great supporter of the horse show industry in the Carolinas and at the national level she was well-known for her straightforward personality and loving smile.
An exhibitor in her early years, “Weezie” became an avid supporter of many who participated in the show ring, especially her daughter Stephanie, her late son-in-law Johnny Wellington, her granddaughter Allie Nunley and siblings Steve Myers, Jean Myers, Brenda Kelly and their extended family.
Visitation will be Sunday night from 6:00 – 8:00 at Salem Funeral Home, 2951 Reynolds Rd, Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Services will be Monday morning at the funeral home, beginning at 11:00.
