NY Morgan Stallion Service Auction

The NY Morgan Stallion Service Auction will be taking place on February 11, 2006 in Saratoga Springs, NY. The NY Stallion Service Auction has scheduled many events for the day. Starting the day at 10 AM will be a fashion show and fittings by Marsha DeArriaga. At noon horse drawn sleigh rides and a scavenger hunt for the youth will take place at nearby Rolling Oaks Stable. At 2 PM the annual forum will feature the topic, "The Responsibilities of the Mare Owner" with two reproductive vets on the panel as well as prominent stallion owners/managers. Also at 2 PM the pool will be available for the youth to get together for a pool party. There will also be some vendors setting up for the day and they include an animal communicator, two artists, as well as promotional tables from the NYSMHS.
The live auction starts at 7:30 PM with 43 of the breed’s best stallions’ services being auctioned off. This year the auction will again feature bidding on training services from some of the breed’s top professionals. They include Mike Carpenter Stables, Chrislar Farms, Equitation Unlimited, Hobby Knoll Stables, Indian Creek Farm, Mark Mason Stables, Scussell Stables and Garn Walker Stable. If that isn't enough we will also have available for auction ads for the NEMHS show program, The Morgan Magazine and Saddle Horse Report. Photo shoots from Suzy Lucine and Debbie Uecker-Keough plus four beautiful pieces of artwork from the art collection of Katrina and Kenton Wood of Graywood Stables will also be auctioned.
