Notice of Annual Meeting of Members on February 27, 2015 and 2015 Ballot Form Instructions

NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING

The Annual Meeting of Members of the American Morgan Horse Association, Inc., will be held at Hyatt Regency in Minneapolis MN on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. local time, for the following purposes:

To elect the following:

•    One Regional Director for a term of  3 years from Region 6, which includes Arkansas, Louisiana, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas

•    One Regional Director for a term of  3 years from Region 7, which includes Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada

•    One Regional Director for a term of  3 years from Region 8, which includes Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, Canada from Manitoba West

•    One Regional Director for a term of  2 years from Region 4 (filling a vacancy), which includes Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, all foreign countries except for Canada

•    One Director-at-Large for a term of three years; and

To conduct such other business as may properly come before the meeting.

Individual, Life, Honorary, Youth Life, and Youth Members eighteen years of age or older in good standing, and qualified representatives of  household/business Members in good standing, as of the close of business on December 31, 2014, are entitled to notice of and to vote at the Annual Meeting or any continuation thereof.

BALLOT FORM INSTRUCTIONS
A ballot may be cast in one of four ways:

1) In person on the date of the Annual Meeting between the hours of 10:00 a.m. local time until the close of the election (approximately 3:00 p.m. local time);

2) By completing and mailing to the Tabulating Agent in the envelope provided the enclosed ballot form so that it is post-marked no later than February 13, 2015 (No faxes or submissions other than in the envelope provided will be accepted.  Do NOT mail General Proxy forms to the Tabulator.);

3) By completing and submitting a ballot on-line as instructed on the ballot or

4) Designating a proxy: A member wishing to designate a proxy to vote for him/her may sign the enclosed General Proxy form and provide it to the designated person, who may cast the ballot in person on Friday February 27, 2015 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. – noon. A designated proxy may ONLY vote for you in person.

In the event of multiple ballots from or on behalf of a member, only the last ballot cast will be counted. 

Picture ID is required for all in-person voters, including proxies.
