Mark your calendars for The Mane Event on March 2-3 - the CRHA AGM and Banquet will be held on Saturday, March 3 at the Toronto Airport Marriott Hotel in conjunction with fellow light horse/pony clubs - Canadian Hackney Society, Ontario Hackney Association, Canadian Pony Society, and the American Saddle Horse Association of Ontario, Inc.  The Presidents of the five organizations invite everyone to attend "The Mane Event Expo" - a complimentary reception which will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. on Friday, March 2.  Each association will have displays along with some industry related displays.  Click here for further details on the day's events and the OHA Freedman Harness Draw.  The deadline for tickets and room reservations is February 11, so don't delay.  The CRHA AGM will take place at 10:00 a.m. with a Directors meeting to follow.

Silent Stallion Auction - The CRHA is again hosting its annual Silent Stallion Action by auctioning off the stallion services for premier trotting stallions - thus far In Conchnito has been very generously donated by Seelster Farms - via this web site, e-mail, and fax from March 1 through 15.  Follow the links for more details.  Check out our ad in the March 1 issue of The Canadian Sportsman!  A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Children's Health Foundation which raises and grants funds to support the Children's Hospital of Western Ontario in London.  Those who generously donate stallion services will be the guests of the CRHA for an evening performance at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto in November and the OHHA Appreciation Wine & Cheese reception following the OHHA Green Roadster Classic to Bike.  If you are interested in donating a stallion service for the 2007 auction, please contact Jeff Passmore (905-701-0231) or Kathy Galbraith (705-696-2044) for more details.
