New Hampshire Nationals Set for September

Show manager John Lampropoulos announced the New Hampshire Nationals Horse Show will take place September 24-27, 2020 at the famed Deerfield, New Hampshire fairgrounds. The show will feature a full schedule for American Saddlebreds, Hackneys, and Morgans, as well as a large open division.

Also, due to the current situation with the Covid pandemic, officials of the New England Horseman’s Council have voted to move the NEHC Saddle Seat Medal Finals and Walk Trot Saddle Seat Finals to the New Hampshire Nationals for this year. Riders will not have to qualify to show in the Finals this year. The only requirement will be you have to be a member of the NEHC before the show starts. The moving of the Finals DOES NOT mean that Octoberfest is cancelled. Those show officials will continue to monitor the Covid19 guidelines in Massachusetts and work with the Eastern States management.

Renee Lavery will judge American Saddlebreds, Hackneys and Equitation, while Keith Friday will officiate the Morgan and open divisions. Jody LaSalle will join Lavery and Friday on the three-judge panel for the two NEHC Finals. Also, on the official team are photographer Jon McCarthy and announcer Peyton Hamilton.
