New England Morgan Horse Cancelled

It is with very heavy hearts that the New England Show Committee along with the New England Morgan Horse Association decided to cancel the New England Morgan Horse Show July 20 – 25, 2020. Much of the decision making was taken out of our hands by the state of Massachusetts and the Department of Agriculture. The 4 Phase program that the governor rolled out does not begin until July 20th, not giving us enough time to get ready. A lot of work goes into the fairgrounds to create the beautiful backdrop that we have all grown to love and the standard of excellence we expect from this show. That begins long before the 20th.

The committee has struggled with this vote for the last 4 weeks. Their concern for the health and safety of the exhibitor was always their priority. The committee takes great pride in putting on a wonderful week of friends, family, community and connection for the past 80 years. The New England Morgan Horse Show has set a standard of Morgan Excellence that we are proud to be a part of. We look forward to returning in 2021 better and stronger. Thank you for your continued support of this wonderful horse show. Stay safe
