New Dates For Morgan Masterpiece

The Morgan Masterpiece Horse Show will be held on May 29-June 1, 2003 at the Alliance Energy Center of Dane County in Madison, WI. This is a new date as well as a new time for the show. Next year, the show will return to Oshkosh, WI, where the Sunnyview Exposition Center has been reserved for six years. This year, Sandy Sessink will judge. This “A” Rated US Equestrian Morgan Show is also approved by Tri-State Horseman’s Association and North Central Morgan Association for Hi-Points.

The show committee has taken into consideration that many of the junior exhibitors will still be in school and have moved all junior exhibitor and equitation classes to begin on Friday evening’s performance. There will be a High Point Award for Junior Exhibitors in the Hunt Seat, Western and Saddle Seat/Classic divisions. In addition, the show is still offering the “In Hand Incentive Program.”

The show schedule still offers full divisions with many young horse classes, including the UPHA Pleasure Driving Classic. New classes added for this year are: Gentlemen’s English Pleasure, Gentlemen’s Western Pleasure, Gentlemen’s Hunt Seat Pleasure, Roadster to Bike, Jr. Exhibitor/Amateur Park Saddle, Sport Horse In Hand to have their own championship and the Western type In Hand to have two classes with their own championship. For the fourth consecutive year there will be the Stallion Service Auction. This has been very excited and the committee is considering beginning a futurity in Wisconsin.
