New Date/Location for 2009 Team Morgan Competition

Due to unforeseen schedule conflicts, the 2009 Team Morgan competition slated to take place at the Jubilee Regional Morgan Horse Show September 2-5, 2009 has been rescheduled to take place August 16-18, 2009 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

AMHA is pleased to partner with Cash Lovell Stables to hold this international competition, which includes seven riders from each country competing in saddle seat equitation conducted using World Cup rules. A three-member equitation judging panel will mark the cards and awards will be given to the overall high-point rider for both rail and pattern and the overall high-point team.

Team Morgan has limited openings and applications will be accepted until July 10. The application process has been streamlined to expedite selection given the change in dates.

Youth interested in learning more about the application process may contact Chris Koliander at AMHA, chris@morganhorse.com , (802) 985-4944 ext. 17.

Look to learn more about Team Morgan 2010 in the coming months when AMHA announces its next international competition!
