NEMHA Getaway Weekend



The annual New England Morgan Horse Association (NEMHA) Getaway Weekend will be January 26-27, 2002 in the beautiful Berkshires of Massachusetts. The registration table opens at 8:30 am on Saturday morning at Sebring Stables in Richmond. “You Be The Judge,” a mini judges clinic will be held with Harry Sebring and Cindy Mugnier.

The live demonstrations will begin around 11:00 am and continue through most of the afternoon, with a lunch break at noon. At press time, those scheduled to appear are David Rand and the World English Pleasure Champion Merriehill Hooligan; Jeff Morse demonstrating stadium driving; Edith Root speaking on fox hunting with Morgans; Cindy Mugnier discussing the Morgan hunter pleasure horse; and Harry Sebring discussing the classic pleasure division.

Following the live horse demonstrations, activities will move inside to the Cranwell Resort in Lenox, MA. A cocktail hour will begin at 6:00 pm, followed by the NEMHA Circuit Champions Awards Banquet

On Sunday morning, join Fred Braden, AMHA Executive Director, for breakfast at the Cranwell Resort. He will share his vision of the future of the Morgan industry. The NEMHA Annual Meeting will follow at 10:00 am.
