Need to sell your horse and can't? Need a tax deduction?
Thursday, September 29, 2005
The Crumley House Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center, Limestone, Tenn., is accepting donated horses that may be used in its therapeutic riding program.
This non-profit, independently run rehabilitation center works to provide much needed services to brain-injured persons in the areas of independent living, vocational training, community re-entry, and social and recreational activities that promote maximization of independence.
Its facility sits on 30+ acres in the countryside. Their property also includes a 70-stall horse barn that houses donated/therapeutic riding horses.
After a horse is donated, which can be a tax deduction, it will be evaluated for use in the center’s therapeutic riding program. If suitable, the horse will be placed into immediate use. If the horse is not suitable, the Crumley House Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center will sell the horse and all proceeds go directly back into its program.
All breeds, ages, shapes, and sizes are currently being accepted. For more information on programs or facility, please do not hesitate to email FantasiaFarm@aol.com or call (423) 257-7776.
