Nationally Known Trainer Sandy Sessink to Visit WWU



FULTON, MO – Sandy Sessink, well known trainer and instructor in the saddle seat world, will host a saddle seat clinic at William Woods University Sunday (March 2). The clinic will feature WWU equestrians and horses.

 

Involving 14 riders and university-owned horses, the clinic will start at 11 a.m. and run till 5 p.m. The auditing fee is $10 for WWU students and non-students.

 

Sessink is nationally respected for her ability to both train and show multiple world champion horses. She has more than 25 years experience, and has won many world titles. As an instructor, she has coached numerous horse and rider teams to national and world championships.

 

She is also credited with the ability to successfully pair a suitable rider and horse. This, along with her positive attitude toward youth involvement in the show horse industry, increases her effectiveness as an instructor.

 

Active in numerous organizations, such as the USEF Saddle Seat Equitation Committee and Morgan Trainers of the UPHA, her commitment to the equine industry has both depth and breadth. She is also a highly respected judge, with judging experience at several national competitions.
