National Academy Show Makes A Contribution

The National Academy Championship Finals Horse Show, held each November in Murfreesboro, TN, is a rare opportunity for academy riders to take center stage. Just as important as this show's contribution to the development and recognition of future show ring stars is the contribution it makes to the world outside of the equine industry.

Show manager Joyce Webster is pleased to announce that the 2005 show gave $14,000.00 to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN. In fact, the show has donated nearly $50,000.00 to St. Jude’s in the six years since the show’s inception. Webster says the credit goes to the “wonderful support of the exhibitors, parents, instructors, and sponsors of this unique one-of-a-kind show for the Academy Rider.”

Dates for the 2006 show are November 4-5. The location is once again Miller Arena in Murfreesboro. For further information, contact Joyce Webster at (256) 773-2182 or e-mail: paisley@hiwaay.net.
