National Academy Championship Finals Adds Class

The National Academy Championship Finals is proud to announce that the Hackney Horse Foundation is sponsoring the AHHS Academy Pleasure Pony Driving class. The interest in the Pleasure Driving Pony division is a positive outcome for both the horse show and the Hackney Foundation, With each new year the show is continuing to draw more and more academy riders and drivers from across the nation. Already entries are coming from as far away as Nebraska, Wisconsin, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Kentucky, Georgia and Tennessee.
Classes for all ages, five years to adults, walk/trot and walk/trot/canter, western, pleasure driving and leadline walk/trot as well as class for the handicapped. Prizes including a total of $12,500 in US Savings Bonds, ribbons and medallions will be presented. The dates for this year’s shoe are November 1-2. The judges are Neila McCracken, Betsy Boone and Sany Lilly.
