Morgan Grand National Update

Final preparations are underway for this year’s Grand National & World Championship Morgan Horse Show. This year’s show promises to be one of the biggest and best ever.

Prize Lists were mailed with the June issue of The Morgan Horse magazine and may also be downloaded at www.morgangrandnational.com. Entries must be postmarked by August 15, 2006.

Construction continues at the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds with preliminary stages due to be completed in time for this year’s show.  “This renovation project will take several years to complete, and as we have watched the Grand National grow, so too will we watch the State Fairgrounds grow and change,” reports show chair Elaine Galatz.  “We are following the progress of the construction very closely and have every reason to believe that we will very pleased when we arrive in October.”

Once all renovations are completed, the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds promises to be one of the finest facilities in the country.

Competition begins Saturday, October 7th with three shows daily through Saturday, October 14th.  Show times will be at 9:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. each day.  Admission is free throughout the week with a nominal charge for weekend performances.  Tickets can be purchased from the State Fair Arena Box Office and all OK Ticket Outlets.
