Momentum Building at National Museum of the Morgan Horse

The National Museum of the Morgan Horse Council Chairperson Martha duPont was pleased to announce a $10,000 Challenge Gift during the February 2008 Convention meeting with the AMHI Board of Trustees. The duPont gift "challenges" the NMMH to raise an equal amount in Annual Fund donations. The funds are earmarked to support NMMH projects, exhibit expansions, and staffing needs.

The NMMH is also in the middle of a massive Membership drive, and the Museum is excited to report that response has been overwhelming to date.

The May 2008 Gala to be held at the AMHA/NMMH Shelburne, Vermont building has generated much interest. The NMMH Council and staff are collaborating with AMHA and AMHI Building Committee to provide Gala participants with an entertaining three days of Morgan horse fun.

The NMMH Council is planning for future improvements at your Morgan horse museum that will guarantee a more user-friendly experience and that will enhance the museum visit.
