MMHBF Stallion Service Auction and Gala Set



Officials of the Michigan Morgan Horse Breeders’ Futurity have announced their two-day “All Things Morgan” events that will be a part of their Stallion Service Auction and Gala, which is set for February 18 and 19.

The first day will be the Amish Morgan Horse Farm Tour Experience. Buses will depart at 11:30 AM ET from the Stardust Morgan Farm and the experience will feature (4) stops with guided tours and exhibitions of select horses. The buses return to Stardust Morgan Farm at 5:30 PM where an Amish dinner will be served.

Tour tickets are required and reservations must be made by February 10, 2022. Ticket prices are: adults $25, ages 5-12 $15, and children under 5, free. This includes the charter bus and dinner. For information on the tour contact Lori Falk Skover at 810-650-2062, or [email protected].

On Saturday, February 19, the Stallion Auction and Gala will be held at the American Legion Post 210, Middlebury, Indiana. AMHA Registrar Erica Eulau will be the guest speaker, discussing the influence and impact that the Amish community has had on the Morgan breed. She will also be available to register your Morgan horses and answer questions.

Several stallion services will be auctioned and those purchased at the Gala will have the resulting foals bonus eligible. Additionally, there will be an array of items to bid on in the silent auction. As part of the festivities, attendees will enjoy a complimentary pork chop dinner with fellow Morgan lovers. Rooms are available in the Michigan Morgan Horse Breeders’ Futurity block at the Hampton Inn, 105 Crystal Heights Blvd, Middlebury, Indiana with a special rate of $124 per night plus tax (includes complimentary breakfast).
