Mid-West Hackney Association Fall Sale

The Mid-West Hackney Association Fall Sale has some exciting plans for their October 17-18 event to be held at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield, Illinois. In addition to the usual huge tack sale, a raffle will be held during the sale and items for that raffle currently include a $500 Gift Certificate from Jerald Sulky Company and a hand-made table with a pony motif donated by Rick and Michelle Medd. A silent auction will also be held during the sale and items will be accepted anytime before the sale.

We have a very nice selection of ponies consigned to the sale and there should be something for all interests–from breeding stock, prospects and finished show ponies. Heartland Hackney Farm has consigned several three year olds that will be presented in harness that are sired by Heartland Equality, Heartland Victory and Heartland Code of Honor. We also have several futurity winning ponies consigned from Jim Spurrier Stables, Jerry Elmer Stables and Light Farms. This should be one of best selections of ponies that the Mid-West sale has presented.

The sale catalogs will be going out the first part of October, but pony consignments are now being listed on the Mid-West Hackney website and will continue to be listed up until two days before the sale. Anyone having tack or carts that they would like to consign is asked to bring them as early as possible on Friday, October 17. For more information on the sale or to request a sale catalog, please contact Mid-West Hackney at 815-638-2071, email at asb10@earthlink.net or go to the Mid-West Hackney website at www.midwesthackney.com.
