Midwest Charity Horse Show Announces Dates, Judges for 2014

Midwest Charity Horse Show’s dates for the 73rd show will be June 10-14, 2014. Midwest Charity Horse Show’s distinguished panel of judges includes: Paul Boone, Concord, NC; Gene van der Walt, Shelbyville, Ky; and Lisa Waller, Heiskell, Tenn. Midwest Charity Horse Show is held at the Illinois State Fairgrounds Coliseum in Springfield.

The Midwest Charity Horse Show Association has donated $15,000 to the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine’s Camp COCO from proceeds of the 2013 multi-breed Midwest Charity Horse Show. New corporate sponsor Steak ‘N Shake and many long-time generous supporters enabled us to significantly increase our donation, we are grateful for their support. Since its inception, the Midwest Charity Horse Show, an all volunteer, non-subsidized organization, has donated its annual proceeds to a Springfield area charity and has selected Camp COCO as the beneficiary since 1988, creating an endowment fund, with its cumulative donation totaling $182,500.

As tradition dictates, the Midwest Charity Horse Show will delight and entertain exhibitors with their legendary hospitality with nightly parties, Tuesday-Friday nights, after the last class in barn 25Q, the famous “Party Barn.”
