2002 MICHIGAN LIMITED BREEDER’S SWEEPSTAKES

The Michigan Limited Weanling Breeder’s Sweepstakes was held October 18, in Corunna, Mich. The sweepstakes paid out over $26,000 to the winners. The judges for this year’s event were Bob Ruxer, Mike Felty, and Janet Barber. Cloverleaf’s Mr. Bojangles, by It’s Hammertime, was the winning weanling for Willard McRae of Fenton, Mich. The reserve weanling was Hey Arnold!, by Slama’s Storm, for Shelly London. Odds On Favorite, by Sunday Sultan, was third for Walt and Julee O’Rielly. Cloverhill’s War Emblem, by Cloverhill’s Magic Dragon, was fourth for Don Joliff. Fifth was Virtual Epiphany, by Virtual Future, for Wendy Lewis. The 2003 Michigan Stallion Auction will be held February 8, 2003 at the holiday Inn Gateway, Flint, Mich.
