A Message from Midwest Charity

Midwest Charity Horse Show has just wrapped-up its successful 68th edition despite Tuesday’s torrential rain and Friday’s tornado warnings and were able to offer world- class competition and well-filled classes. According to Midwest Charity Horse Show President, Judy Kjellander, "The success of Midwest can be attributed to not only our hard-working board of directors and volunteers but also to our generous sponsors.

Even though the show has more than doubled since the mid 1990’s, our dedicated board members were still able to offer first class hospitality for our trainers, exhibitors and sponsors. We are grateful to the Department of Agriculture, their grounds crew and their affiliates for the clean and beautifully maintained fairgrounds.

With our wide-spread community support this year, from the Mayor and other officials attending the ribbon cutting, to the extensive media coverage and generous in-kind local donations, we were able to provide the exhibitors with even more spectators and community outreach. Springfield certainly rolled out the welcome mat this year for those who attended the show. To each and every trainer, exhibitor and sponsor we say thank you for 2009."
