Memorial Service Set for Chris Field

Chris Field, 59, of Shelbyville, Ky. died Monday, April 6, at the Norton Pavilion Center in Louisville.

She was born in Salt Lake City. After graduating from Olympus High School in 1968, she attended the University of Utah. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. She was employed as a legal secretary with Frost Brown Todd for the last 13 years. In 2004, she rode the famous American Saddlebred, CH Rejoice, to a World Championship at the Kentucky State Fair Horse Show.

She is survived by her husband William "Bill" Field; a son John "Bunky" Field; a step-daughter, Kimber King of South Weber, Utah; her mother, Doris Jones, of Las Vegas; a sister, Vicky, of Salt Lake City; a brother Ralph Jones, of Las Vegas; and five grandsons.

A memorial service to celebrate her life is 4 p.m. April 16, at Undulata Farm, 1600 Zaring Mill Road, Shelbyville.

Shannon Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
