Memorial Service for Peter Archer



A memorial service will be held for Peter Archer on May 31 at 1:00 p.m. It will take place at Burr Oaks, 7429N 1900E Rd, Bloomington, IL 61704. There will be more than enough room to accommodate plenty of people.  In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to The Peter Archer Memorial Fund, c/o: Busey Bank, 2101 N Veterans Parkway, Bloomington, IL 61704.

From Interstate 55 going South: Take Towanda Exit taking a left into town. Go straight through town until you come to a stop sign at the T intersection. Turn right onto 1900 E Rd. which turns into hwy 29 or also called Towanda Barnes Rd. Go south 11 miles, cross over Interstate 74. First driveway on left after you cross the Interstate. White farm house shares driveway with Burr Oaks.

From Interstate 55 going North: Take Interstate 55 to the Interstate 74 east (Champaign) exchange. Take Downs exit, turn right onto E 700 Rd. (away from Downs) The road will curve around to a stop sign. Turn right onto County Highway 29 (1900E /Towanda Barnes Rd). First driveway on the right. Burr Oaks shares a driveway with a white farm house.

From Interstate 74 going east or Interstate 39 going South: Merge on to 55/74 south Interstate, take the 74 east Interstate exchange heading towards Champaign. Take Downs exit, turn right onto E 700 Rd. (away from Downs) The road will curve around to a stop sign. Turn right onto County Highway 29 (1900E /Towanda Barnes Rd). First driveway on the right. Burr Oaks shares a driveway with a white farm house.

From Interstate 74 going West: Take Downs exit, turn left onto E 700 Rd. (away from Downs) the road will curve around to a stop sign. Turn right onto road County Highway 29 (1900E /Towanda Barnes Rd). First driveway on the right. Burr Oaks shares a driveway with a white farm house.
