Meadow Wood Stables Having A Busy Early Spring

Danny and Nancy Troutman’s Meadow Wood Stables in Salem, Va., has been busy with purchases and sales since March 1.

Katie Scott is the excited new owner of Mountainview’s King For A Day, formerly owned by Jones Mountainview Saddlebreds. This sharp moving five-gaited horse will be Scott’s new juvenile gaited horse. Scott Perrelli acted as agent for Norman Jones.

Another Jones Mountainview horse has moved into the stable, and that is Mountainview’s Vintage Wine. She is a perky four-year-old five-gaited mare purchased by Joann Bedsaul of Roanoke, Va. Bedsaul had a nice gaited pleasure horse in the past named CH Take Title and it looks like Wine will follow in his footsteps. The Troutmans acted as agents for both parties.

Two home raised horses have been sold to riding lesson customers. Timely Material, a four-year-old mare by Star Material, has been purchased by Cheryl and Jennifer Feller. They both are in the riding lesson program and plan to pleasure ride Time. The second horse is a three-year-old colt named Middle March. He is being purchased by Ron and Pat Mathers for their daughter Jessie to eventually show in juvenile pleasure.

Worthy Night, a five-gaited pleasure horse formerly owned by Susan Thurman, has been sold to Theresa Frame for her daughters to show. Frame owns Fox Creek Stable in Lowry, Va. The Troutmans acted as agents.

Meadow Wood is also proud to announce the opening of their new web site www.meadowwoodstables.com. Pictures of the new foal by Gypsy Santana are up on the web site.
