McConnell Stables Sales Activity

In addition to staying on the road this summer supporting shows both large and small, Pat and Julie McConnell have also sold a few horses recently. Before Louisville Bonnie Lee and Dave Woods purchased a stretchy, bay two-year-old filly sired by Attache's Born Believer out of Simply Irresistible by The Showboat. This promising prospect was owned by Charles Bradshaw. She is now continuing her training with Lisa Strickland who had previously sold Simply Striking for Lee and Woods. The odd but interestingly colored Simply Striking went on to win this year's Adult Country Pleasure World's Grand Championship.
At the All-American Classic the McConnells sold the four-year-old Supremacy's High Time daughter, It's Star Time, to Mrs. Alan R. Robson with Tom Ferrebee as her agent. Shown by owner Beth Bushnell, It's Star Time was fourth in a country pleasure driving class at Louisville and then followed with two reserves at the All-American Classic. This bright, young mare will now be shown by Mrs. Robson under the direction of Ferrebee.
