McConnell Stables Sales Activity

Posted February 26. 2002
Pat and Julie McConnell recently reported some steady sales activity from their Versailles, Ky., facility. Earlier this year Royal Scot Stables purchased the successful young gaited horse Mahvalous Asset. Winner of the UPHA Three-Year-Old Five-Gaited Classics Championship at the American Royal in 1998, the son of Attache’s Liquid Asset and Mahvalous Day is now under the direction of Kenny Smith at Royal Scot Stables, Richmond, Ill.

A world’s champion performer and winner at such shows as Lexington, Kansas City, Shelbyville, and Harrodsburg in country pleasure, the Reserve World’s Grand Champion Country Pleasure Driving title holder from 2001, CH Foxy’s Delight was sold by the Dr. Louis Papp family to Fred and Cecile Salley for their 11-year-old daughter Erica. Foxy’s Delight will remain in training at McConnell Stables.

Mark and Mary Lou Greenwell selected A Piece Of The Rock at McConnell Stables. They were agents for Mike and Patti Lovelace who purchased the gelding for their daughter Lyndsey to show in walk and trot equitation. A Piece Of The Rock was formerly owned by Deata Gregory.
