Massachusetts Morgan Horse Association To Host Clinic

The Massachusetts Morgan Horse Association is hosting a day of fun and educational clinics on Saturday, September 21, at Sebring Stables on Dublin Road in Hancock, MA.

The activities begin at 8:00 am, and speakers include Susan Harris of Cortland, NY. She will discuss “Anatomy in Motion: The Visible Horse. “If you have never heard and seen Susan Harris regarding her ‘Anatomy in Motion’, you are in for a treat,” said Judy Candage. “She presented at the ADS Super Clinic last spring and it was so informative and interesting. Guaranteed you will find it fascinating and helpful no matter what you do with horses.”

Cliff Swanson of Swan Training Stables in Castle Rock, CO will give a presentation on Western Dressage. “If you have any interest in the new sport of Western Dressage, don't miss this chance to learn from one of the ground floor people of this sport,” Judy said. “Based in Colorado, Cliff doesn't make it to the East Coast very often, so don't miss this chance to learn from one of the best.”

Jeff Morse of Green Meads Farm in nearby Richmond, MA, will give a presentation on Carriage Driving. Judy said, “Jeff’s presentation will mainly focus on second careers for equines in carriage driving.

Contact Carolyn Sebring for pre-registration or more information, sebringstables2@aol.com. There are limited spaces available for horses in the western dressage and carriage driving clinics. Lunch will also be available. You can also contact Judy Candage, jcandage@cericfab.com, 978-772-9034 (work) and 978-265-8209 (cell).
