Mary Bernadean Jones M.D. passed away Wednesday July 15 at Emory Midtown Hospital in Atlanta, GA. The daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Henry L. (Emily Jane Young) Jones, she leaves behind one daughter, Emily, son-in-law Tad, and grandchildren Lily and Cope McNair. She had recently attended the Lexington Junior League Horse Show for the 60th time, cheering on her granddaughter Lily McNair in Walk-and-Trot Equitation. Lily rides with Chan Sutton. The Memorial Services will be held at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at the Saint Andrews Episcopal Church in Douglas, GA, and the visitation will be held on Monday, July 20, 2009 at the Saint Andrews Episcopal Church in the Social Hall; calling hours are 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
