Marcucci Equipment Auction During LBS Stallion Auction

The American Hackney Horse Society (AHHS) is pleased to announce that equipment from Hall of Famer Gib Marcucci’s long and successful show career will be available for auction at the 2013 LBS Grand Event, held Saturday, March 2. Items include work harness, show harness, show vehicles, tail sets, trunks, blankets, sheets, buckets and much more.

The weekend will start off on Friday, March 1, with a social gathering at the popular horseman’s watering hole, Old Stone Inn, Simpsonville, Ky. That gathering will begin at 6:00 p.m.

Marcucci’s equipment auction will begin at 8:30a.m. the following morning at the Shelby County Fairgrounds. This will be a great opportunity for people to purchase a piece of Hackney history.

On Saturday evening the AHHS General Membership Meeting will begin at 5:00 p.m. at Claudia Sanders Restaurant, Shelbyville, Ky., followed by cocktails at 6:00 p.m. and the LBS Auction and Dinner Buffet at 7:00. Both the Best Western Shelbyville (502) 633-4400 and Ramada Shelbyville (502) 633-9933 have special rates for AHHS.
