Maine Morgan To Hold Clinics



On Saturday, March 5, 2005, a clinic will be hosted by the Maine Morgan Horse Association. It will be held in Falmouth, Maine, at Shaeffer Farm the home of Rand. The clinic will feature sessions presented by David Rand on "putting together a winning amateur/junior exhibitor team" with demonstrations and participation as well as "starting the young horse in harness and keeping the harness horse fresh" followed by questions and answers. There will also be a presentation on "proper nutrition of a show horse" presented by Andrew Beals of Poulin Grain as well as David Rand. The time schedule, which includes a lunch break, will run from 10am to 4pm on March 5 with a makeup date of March 6 in case of bad weather.

Maine Morgan's schedule of events also include a May 7 clinic with Kass Booth at Highover Farm in Eliot, Maine. The session will be called "Getting The Hunter and Classic Horse Ready To Show" and will feature demonstrations as well as participation.
