Luncheon Speakers Announced For Saddlebred Convention



Guest speakers have been announced for the annual American Saddlebred Convention, held at the Embassy Suites Hotel, Lexington, Kentucky, Thursday, February 14, through Saturday, February 16.

 

The Annual Members Luncheon is held on Saturday at noon, followed by the formal corporate Annual Meeting of Saddlebred Association members and guests.  This year’s speakers include Jay Hickey, president of the American Horse Council in Washington, D.C., Deb Balliet, Chief Executive Officer of Equestrian Land Conservation Resource, headquartered at the Kentucky Horse Park, and, from the University of Kentucky, Dr. Ernie Bailey and Dr. Kathryn T. Graves.  Bailey and Graves will speak on planning and breakthroughs in research on the Lordosis and Epitheliosis Imperfecta (EI) traits respectively.
