Lindsay Gama Double Winner

While competing in the recent NEHC New England Saddle Seat Medal Finals and the newly created Eastcoast Equitation Event Junior Exhibitor Finals, Johnston, Rhode Island’s Lindsay Gama had the unique honor of winning the Sportsmanship Award from both finals.

Held at the Eastern States Horse Show, otherwise known as The Big E, Gama was one of only two Morgan riders competing in those finals, yet she was voted by her fellow riders in both cases to receive the prestigious awards.

Anyone that knows the daughter of Holly and Walter Armstrong knows she always carries a smile and an upbeat attitude for her fellow competitors. Finishing in the Top 10 of both competitive finals, Gama rides with Lisa Richardson at Cricket Hill Stables.
