Posted March 15, 2002 I just wanted to write a quick thank you to Saddle Horse Report for your tidbit on Alex Mooney and Cystic Fibrosis Great Strides. I am on the Columbia Missouri Great Strides Planning Committee also set for the end of April. My husband is a 29 year old Cystic Fibrosis patient at University Hospital here in Columbia and I am involved in the Saddlebred, Quarter Horse, and rodeo communities. The walk serves as a great fund raiser to help find a cure for this deadly genetic disease. The Saddlebred community has always been a wonderful supporter of so many charities concerning children, I hope that the readers donate to Alex and her goal.
