Lawrence Carss Dies in Hospital



Nationally known Hackney pony trainer and judge Lawrence Carss died in St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky yesterday. Carss had been ill for an extended time and had been seeking treatment in Lexington as well as at the Mayo Clinic for lung and heart ailments.

Carss is survived by his wife Sandy and their children Rebecca and Dylan. He is also survived by his children Andrew and Shelly.

Visitation will be held at the Richie and Peach Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, on Tuesday July 8 from 12 until 4 and on Wednesday, July 9 from 8 until 11 with a memorial service to be held at 11:00 a.m.
