Krussell Stables Busy With Sales/Purchases

As the show season is quickly approaching for the Midwest exhibitors, sales and purchases have been brisk at Krussell Stables in Richmond, Ill. Owner/trainer Ray Krussell sold Night Of Controversy TS for Jayne Tillman of Tillman Stables. Night Of Controversy is headed to California to be under the direction of Brigitte Scholl of Monarch Stables.

As the agent for Debbie Hoffman, Krussell selected World’s Champion King’s Lady Anne from Marcy Shatner. Kim Skipton rode the Merchant Prince daughter to the 2007 Amateur Ladies Three-Gaited 15.2-&-Under World’s Championship under the direction of George Knight who represented Shatner in the transaction.

World’s Champion Pistolero is also joining the Krussell Stables string. The Slater family purchased Pistolero for their daughter, McKenna, to show in 13-and-under competition. Mary Jane Peebles was the former owner, and she was represented by Rob and Sarah Byers, Premier Stables.

Krussell selected Out All Night (now named Linus Vanpelt) for Dr. Morgan Wolin’s adult equitation horse. He was formerly owned by Sam and Anne Stafford and trained by Shelly Fischer.

Also new to the barn, Majestic’s Top Billing was purchased by Elizabeth Carney from Landmark Farm (Robert and Jonelle Gardiner) to be Wendy Carney’s amateur gaited mount.
