Kentucky Spring Premier Adds Classes



Kentucky Spring Premier promises to be a very interesting start to the horse show season in the state of Kentucky. They have added a variety of Morgan classes for 2022 and to accommodate those extra classes they have added an additional day. The show will be judged by Marie Bouvet Howell for Saddlebred, Hackney, Roadster and Saddle Seat Equitation and Lisa Cunningham-Waller will judge the Morgan Division. The show will start on Wednesday, April 6 with two sessions and conclude on Saturday, April 9. There will be a full complement of Academy Classes on Saturday morning which includes UPHA Exceptional Challenge Cup Classes.

There have been several changes to the schedule since it was first published on the website and these changes should be noted as follows:

On Wednesday, these classes have been added to the schedule:
#28 – Good Hands Equitation Event
#29 – ASB Three Gaited Park Pleasure Novice Horse
#46 – ASB Five-Gaited Country Pleasure
#47 – Junior Exhibitor Roadster Pony to Bike

Thursday will include the following addition of two classes and switch Class 80 with Class 84 so the schedule classes will now be:
#75 ASB Junior Exhibitor Hunter Country Pleasure
#80 Amateur Three-Gaited (moved from Class 84)
#84 Amateur Fine Harness (moved from Class 80)
#91 Park Pleasure Driving
Friday will have the following added Classes:
# 116 Roadster Horse to Wagon
#117 Five-Gaited Country Pleasure Stake
