Kentucky Saddlebred Owners And Breeders Association Annual Membership Meeting



The KSOBA Annual Membership meeting will be held at 1:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, February 12, 2015, in the conference room of the United States Pony Club; located at the Kentucky Horse Park.  All current members of KSOBA are invited to attend.

Representatives from the Kentucky Department of Revenue will be attending to discuss Kentucky Sales and Use Tax and how it applies to horses.  Ricky Haven has been employed by the Kentucky Department of Revenue for 32 years, the last 10 as director of the Division of Sales and Use Tax.  Helene Hobaugh is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a B.A. in Psychology.  She has been employed with the Department of Revenue for 3.5 years. She is currently a Taxpayer Services Specialist I, and has been involved in the Equine Sales Tax Program for a little over 2.5 years.  Ms. Cara Stewart from KEEP will also make a presentation.
