Kentucky Derby Extravaganza Fundraiser


The Maine Morgan Horse Club, Inc., is offering a Kentucky Derby Extravaganza Fundraiser for friends to enjoy the race together in a horse environment. The fundraiser will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2008, 4:00 p.m. at Cabot Morgan Farm, 21 Shaw Road, Falmouth, Maine. Tickets are $65 if purchase by April 15; after that date, the ticket price is $75. This fundraiser is designed to raise funds for the Maine Morgan Cup classes total payout of over $10,000. The extravaganza is catered by Church Hill and will have the following agenda:


4:00 p.m. - hors d’oeuvre & beverage service

6:00 p.m. – View Kentucky Derby Race on big screen
Dinner immediately following race

7:30 – Silent Auction Winners and Best Derby Hat Winners Announced


A limited number of tickets will be sold on a first-come first-serve basis. Buy your tickets early to attend this fun event.

The Maine Morgan Cup classes are held at the annual Maine Morgan Horse Show. The show will be held July 4-6, 2008, at the Deerfield Fairgrounds, Deerfield, New Hampshire. The Maine Morgan Horse Cup classes feature Morgan weanlings, yearling and sport horses. Morgan horses from all over New England and Canada participate in the Maine Morgan Horse Show, highlighting their beauty and talent.
